Makes Spin class better than ever! Here at Bad Ass Academy we combine Spin with various exercises performed in our *SIGNATURE* Boot Camp classes on and off the bike. Our instructors will use the entire training facility to incorporate functional exercises not used in regular Spin classes for the best “Spin-Sanity” class you have ever taken. BAD ASS “BODY SCULPTING”
BAD ASS Body Sculpting concentrates on specific body parts. You will learn the proper way to exercise specific muscles with gaining maximum results. You will perform various “FUNCTIONAL” training exercises in each class which are intended to supplement your weekly training. This is not a class you should take once a week. CARDIO KICK BOXING
This is not your ordinary Kick Boxing class. Here at Bad Ass Academy we teach you form, knowledge, and the intricacies of Kick Boxing. We fuse our *SIGNATURE* Boot Camp class techniques to further enhance muscle toning and fat loss. Here at Bad Ass Academy we also offer Pilates which is a very unique methodology for strength through the core of the body-back, abdomen, and hips. This provides a foundation to continue working the rest of the body. The concentration is not only on strength but also flexibility and coordination. The goal is overall body fitness, elongated supple muscles, and balance between body and mind, with all the parts of a person working as a whole. Pilates improves posture, increases lung capacity, and strong, sculpted muscles. Bad Ass Academy finds Pilates to be a necessary element for all our members, to enhance their weekly training routines. We cannot stress the importance of including Pilates to your regimen for optimum movement, performance, and to eliminate the hazard of muscle “over use” and avoid injury. Many of the instructors here at Bad Ass Academy practice Pilates for their maximum performance when training and/or competing.
Here at Bad Ass Academy we offer Plyometrics also known as PLYOS, or “jump training”. These are various movements performed while exerting maximum force in a rapid, explosive succession, in order to increase speed, performance, and power. This training focuses on learning to move from a muscle extension to a contraction in an explosive way. ROCK THE BELLS
Here at our “Functional Training Facility” we will teach you the various ways to exercise with a Kettle Bell in our “Rock The Bells” class. Kettle Bells are terrific for body fat loss, improving lean body mass, and helping teach proper speed of the hips. You will learn how to swing a Kettle Bell properly and apply it to your weekly trainings. The flipping of the kettle bell, the leverage, and the extra grip, all provide a different means of working out. Kettle Bells allow for many different hybrid exercises, as well as, a much smoother transition to various exercises. Our Bad Ass Academy Certified instructors will teach you how to work out every part of your body with a single Kettle Bell. Unlike dumb bells, the Kettle Bell has a more distinct shape which offers a weight distribution more challenging to stabilize when performed with the “FUNCTIONAL” training at Bad Ass Academy. SPEED & AGILITY
Here at our “Functional Training Facility” you will be performing accelerated speed drills for maximum movement and coordination. You will learn and perform numerous professional football camp training drills right inside our 6000 square foot training facility. We are equipped with all that is necessary to build your speed, agility, strength, and endurance in our Speed & Agility class. POWER & ENDURANCE
This is one of our popular classes for the premiere athlete, and/or person willing to take it to the next level. Here at Bad Ass Academy we aim to get you stronger while building your endurance at the same time. This class will allow you to learn trainings performed by Bad Ass Academy instructors and athletes on a daily basis. This includes a combination of other classes such as our *SIGNATURE* Boot Camps, PLYOS, and Rock The Bells classes. Whether you are a beginner or a regular practitioner, this open yoga class welcomes all experience levels. You can work at your own pace, following the verbal and hands-on guidance of the instructor. Adjustments, modifications, and challenges will be offered throughout the class. You will learn to connect with your breath and mind. You will awaken your body through creative sequencing of sun salutations, standing poses, backbends, seated postures, twists, inversions and final relaxation positions. Instructors here at Bad Ass Academy practice to keep the body toned, strong, and flexible. It has become a mindset, way of living, and enhances maximum performance while training or competing.
If you like to dance and exercise then Bad Ass Academy Zumba is for you. It is a mix of low and high intensity interval moves that provide a total body workout. It combines all elements of fitness while doing cardio, conditioning your muscles, and increasing your balance and flexibility. Zumba increases blood circulation, energy, and serotonin. It is also a great way to decrease stress, anxiety, and depression. This is a necessary addition to any workout regimen! Come get your dance on! IRON OCTOPUS MARTIAL ARTS
Grandmaster Professor Richard Sinclair Sr., created and founded Iron Octopus Tactical Survival Defense System in 1973. Long regarded as the diplomat of the Martial Art world, Richard went beyond the boundaries, and accomplished milestones. Our Jose Cordero, first generation trained with the esteemed grand master Sinclair Sr., conducts these separate package sessions. Curriculum includes the “Total Martial Arts Training:” Ninjitsu, Jujitsu, Judo, Aikido, Aikijitsu, Karate D, and Tae Kwon Do. Each style involves defense strategies, offense, retreat, mobility and immobility, speed and slowness, hard or soft postures, emptiness and fullness, with or without (simulated and or authentic) weaponry.
Here at Bad Ass Academy we have created a Bad Ass “FOUNDATIONS” class that demonstrates each exercise properly. This class is great for beginners and intermediate members. This will teach you the proper way to perform each exercise. The Bad Ass “FOUNDATIONS” is also great for advanced members and athletes that want to make sure they are performing each exercise correctly. This class helps everyone progress in their fitness to become stronger, more fit, and most importantly to reduce the risk of injury while working out.
